Making up your Cards
Cascade CardsMeasure an A4 piece of card 12.5cm up from one edge and mark it, cut a diagonal line from the mark to the top of the other edge of the card, this when folded into three will give you your tri-fold card shape.![]() I have designed the most cascades so that they can be layered onto coloured or mirror card before adding to the finished card. I fold the card before I assemble the card placing the largest piece first then the smallest piece I finally add the central piece lining up as I go along. ![]() DecoupageThese are very easy to make, all you do is cut out and lay them one on top of each other, using 2 or 3mm double sided sticky pads or silicone glue as dividers to get a great 3 dimensional effect.Fold Back Cards![]() Pyramid Sheets and Spiral Pyramid SheetsSimply cut out the rectangles and layer them one on top of each other using 1mm or 2mm double sided sticky pads or silicone glue as dividers. Use the largest rectangle as the base and build directly on top of it. The reason they are called pyramid sheets is if you turn the card on its side and look at the finished product it looks like a pyramid. Spiral pyramids work the same way only this time you have to twist the cut outs slightly to line them up with the original image. The finished product is a twist pyramid that looks very professional indeed. ToppersSimply stick them directly on to your card using 1mm /2mm double sided sticky pads or silicone glue. Triple-Fold CardsPrint out onto card stock, Cut out the whole image Cut out on blue lines Fold on red lines, fold middle layer over bottom layer and top layer over middle layer ![]() Waterfall CardsCut out your waterfall card pieces.Score along the dotted lines and fold the score lines. Fold the top section over at the top score line with coloured side facing in. Put a piece of double sided tape just under the score lines. Place the bottom topper just under the bottom score line The next topper on the section above that and so on Make a hole at bottom of point and each side of long tab and tab strip, attach to card using brads. And that's it you’re waterfall card topper is done! |
